Our Faithful, Hopeful, Loving stewardship emphasis which began on Sunday, April 26, continues on May 3 and 10 beginning with small group conversations during Sunday School at 9:00 and continuing with the theme for each Sunday in worship.
On May 17, Rev. John Krueger, our Guest Steward, will be preaching and concluding the sermon series on Resurrection Life as he explores the meaning of stewardship with us. Dedication and receiving of giving cards will be during worship on that Sunday. Following worship we will share in a brunch and time of celebration.
In addition to the small group conversations on Sunday mornings, Pastor Linda will continue to be available to lead small group discussions at Starbucks in Shelbyville May 6 and May 13 beginning at 7:00 p.m. and lasting about an hour.
If you didn't have the opportunity to sign up for one of the groups (Sundays or Wednesday), please plan on coming coming anyway.

We move in the hope...
that God will provide us with light according to our need,
guidance according to the demands of the time,
and strength to the requirements of every situation.
Our hope is that we may keep ourselves enough out of the way that God can move in and find us useable instruments for doing [God's] will.
--Fred Hoskins, "A Union of Hope," Uniting General Synod, 1957
